SUMMARY: In the summer of 2007, Lisa Cuddy presents Greg House with a new patient, something that's an everyday occurrence. This time, however, the patient is thousands of miles away in a rural area of the West African nation of Ghana. Confused by both her reasons for demanding him to take such a case and the scant amount of information on his new patient, he follows her to Ghana. When they arrive at the rural clinic, they're faced with a mysterious and secretive doctor and a rather odd nurse who demands nothing of her employer, most especially not questions about her past. As they work with the patients at the doctor's clinic, they try to find a pattern in local maladies, but with no new information forthcoming from their patient with a self-imposed occluding of access to her past, they have an insanely difficult time coming up with an answer as the doctor's health declines rapidly.

a/n: I was bored one night and hit “random article” on the main page of Wikipedia – it showed me an article about pancakes. Widely pancakes are a good thing and foundation of many happy memories, but in this story they are used as a symbol for things lost. The title came from more bored expe-google-tions through the world wild net.

The highlight of the summer for me is American Idol Concert on the 23rd in Dallas. I was headed there anyway for family reasons, so I bought a ticket for the show. I WILL GET ALLISON'S AUTOGRAPH \o/

koyuki_san, would you like autographs from Kradison or anyone else??? I don't care if I tan the color of fudge in the Texas heat that day - AM GETTING TO MEET THEM, WOOT!

Also going to vid Allison's performances and livestream it via Qik.com! I'm very tired of the poor cell cast quality @ Rickey.org The cellcasts don't compare to livestream quality really.

02. How did you find out about Hogwarts Elite? I’ve seen the community name floating around LJ for awhile, and after a bit of initial trepidation about the one-strike policy, I thought I’d come and try my hand at getting sorted and joining.
03. What made you start reading the Harry Potter series? A cousin of mine started reading the series – I believe from around the time the first book came out. He’d mentioned it once or twice before and finally when the third book came out, let me borrow the first. I devoured it and wanted more. And then when I when I read the third book… Well! Couldn’t keep me away after that.

03. What made you start reading the Harry Potter series?
I started reading it by accident. My grandmother bought me the first three books before the series was really popular, and I'd ignored them for the longest time, thinking they were kids' books. Then one day, I got bored and picked up Sorcerer's Stone, and I wound up so engrossed that I literally didn't take my nose out of the book. I actually climbed stairs while reading. I've been addicted ever since.

I have bought season one of Lost and a verity other television shows, I would like to make icons out of the shows but I ran into a problem.

I will watch the shows on my computer using either PowerDVD or Windows Media Player, when I take the screenshot using the “Prnt Scrn” button and paste it on Paint, the image turns out black. I also tried pasting it on GIMP, but the same thing happened, where the image I screen captured should be it is just plain black.

Does anyone know how I can fix this, should I try a different viewing program or should I paste it somewhere else? Any Ides?
